End time: Tuesday 23:30 (01 August)
Do come and join us for a sacred fire ceremony to celebrate Lughnasadh, named after the Celtic God “Lugh” “Bright or Shining One”. Lugh was associated with the Sun and agricultural fertility. This fire is traditionally to celebrate harvest and the cycle of death and rebirth. It is also linked to the Goddess in her triple guise as the Maiden, the Mother and the Crone. The fire starts at 8.30pm and there will be refreshments afterwards.
If you feel like bringing biccies or a small offering of food or tea to share it is very welcome and much appreciated!
