About

Following on from the success of our 2015 charity album (A Song for Jack & Jill), Downdaroad Productions are proud to be collaborating with an extremely worthwhile charity in 2017 to produce a compilation album to raise much needed funds. This year we are joining forces with Touch Ireland to produce a compilation album of the highest quality Irish artists, both established and emerging

The launch of this album will be in the 29th June at The Workman's Club Dublin. Where a host of the albums participants and contributors will be performing.

Artist Announcemments coming soon.

Touch Ireland is a charity whose unique selling point is that none of the volunteers take any sort of salary or even expenses for the work they do, including frequent air travel to the countries where they provide aid. All volunteers are self-funded.
TOUCH is a charity that aims to help vulnerable children in Zambia, Sri Lanka, Cameroon, India, Nepal, Brazil and Bangladesh. The main aim is to keep people alive, instil hope and provide education for the future so that people in these communities can learn to support one another. Touch Ireland does this through the provision of physical and learning disability centres, nutrition and food education projects, hospitals and clinics, child sponsorship and poverty relief. Please see the information attached for more information or visit their website www.touchireland.net. [www.touchireland.net/_green" rel="nofollow">http://www.touchireland.net/_green]
Touch Ireland gives 100% of all money raised to providing this support for these communities, they try to support their running costs and their office through company sponsorship. This allows for all financial donations made by the public to go directly to their projects.

About Us:
TOUCH
“Our World - Our Responsibility”
TOUCH focus is on vulnerable children in “Our World”. We use the term “Our World” as opposed to “Third World” or “Developing World”. We feel this terminology allows people to believe that the problem is not ours and therefore not our responsibility. But we feel that if everyone does something regardless of what level they are at then we can significantly help these children. We don’t think we are going to change the world but even if we help only one child then it has to be worth our effort. The ethos of TOUCH is simple in that all children have a right to food, shelter, medication and education. This is the principle we work with and we feel a huge responsibility to do the best we can. All funds raised from the general public go directly to source and this is very important to our groups and ourselves as we understand this is what the people would like to see. A voluntary member of TOUCH travels to our projects at least once a year at their own expense to ensure that all funds are being put to good use.
